			Velocity and NetSpeed to Merge Dear Velocity Internet Customers, We are delighted to announce that two of Canberra's largest Internet Services Providers, Velocity and NetSpeed, are merging. The merger of two of Canberra's largest and best-regarded Internet companies creates huge opportunities for efficiencies and growth in this ever-changing industry. Immediate improvements will be experienced by the customers of both providers including extended support hours, expanded product range and greatly increased Internet backbone capacity. Velocity and NetSpeed both have strong brand awareness and customer loyalty in the local market and will continue to operate as two separate brands. How will this affect me? We will be working hard over the coming weeks making changes to our back-end systems to bring better efficiencies into our combined networks. You will never need to change your email address or login name though, as these will be kept the same at all times. All staff, phone numbers and addresses will remain the same. Both companies will be moving to a newer and larger office in the near future once a new location has been secured. Will my password change? No, your password will not change. But remember, it is a good idea to change this occasionally for other security reasons. How will this benefit me? The merging of two companies will allow us to offer a larger range of products and services. Further details of these will be released in the near future. What immediate changes will I notice? We will immediately be upgrading our total bandwidth to the Internet. This will result in faster peak time downloads for all our customers. There are also some changes to our billing and payment systems that must take place to reflect the new company ownership. Firstly, we have changed our banking account numbers. If you currently make payments via Direct Funds Transfer (DFT) you will need to change the bank account that your funds go into. The new banking details will be included in your next invoice from us. If you would like to update your records now the new back account details are: Account Name: Velocity Internet Holdings Pty Ltd BSB: 082-968 Account Number: 18-356-8714 The old bank account will be closed down shortly so please make this change immediately. Credit card receipts will reflect the new company name. We are very excited about the many benefits this merger will bring to all our customers and we look forward to bringing you better / stronger / faster services long into the future.
